Sustainability Committee
Purpose:To advance the understanding of sustainability in the structural community, and to incorporate concepts of sustainability into structural engineering standards and practices.
Sustainability for the Structural Engineer
The Committee is currently developing guidelines to assist the structural engineer in incorporating the fundamentals of sustainability into practice. The guidelines will include strategies for design and integration of sustainable practices as well as information on materials, sample specifications, and case studies.
